The listed Integration Types are suggestions only. Sockeye recognize that in many cases we need to be flexible in how we integrate with the business due to the ERP, IT/Security criteria, and ultimately what access is available. We will do our best to work with the option that meets our customers needs.
File-Based READ Integration:
- Imports data into Sockeye from a CMMS using a CSV or Excel file
- Can be done by Sockeye Users that have permissions to update backlog details and can access a list of work orders from the CMMS and save the list to an Excel file
- Typically, this approach is used for the start of an implementation, demos, and pilots
File-Based WRITE Integration:
- Exports data from Sockeye back to a CMMS using a CSV file or similar format
- Business IT group creates a program or script which reads a CSV file from Sockeye and updates the CMMS accordingly
Direct READ Integration:
- Imports or pulls in data directly from the CMMS into Sockeye
- Business IT group provides Sockeye with access to the CMMS. Sockeye provides a program which reads data directly from the CMMS
Direct WRITE Integration:
- Sends back schedule data to CMMS from Sockeye
- Business IT group provides Sockeye with access to the CMMS. Sockeye provides a program which writes data directly to the CMMS
Resource File-Based READ Integration:
- Imports data into Sockeye from a CSV or Excel file
- Can be done by Sockeye Users that have access to resource file
Resource READ Integration:
- Imports or pulls in data directly from a work force management system into Sockeye
- Business IT group provides Sockeye with access to work force management system. Sockeye provides a program which reads data directly from management system
Resource Write Integration:
- Sends back resource details to work force management system from Sockeye
- Business IT group provides Sockeye with access to the work force management system. Sockeye provides a program which writes data directly back
